Evaluation of carbonification of coals using a portable Raman spectrometer

چکیده
The estimation of the degree carbonification coals can be investigated using Raman microspectroscopy applied for analysis grains selected macerals (altered remains organic particles). This approach allows best control analyses such as precise selection and orientation maceral to analysed. On other hand, miniaturized, especially handheld spectrometers typically offer a significantly less controlled environment with issues including large laser spot sizes focusing issues. However, advantages miniaturized include fast possibility in-situ analyses. study illustrates that it is possible discriminate among different maturation carbonaceous matter well types data acquired portable spectrometer spectroscopic parameters: D G band widths wavenumber positions. inherent heterogeneous materials were addressed. Moreover, variability in backgrounds wide range from lignite anthracite necessitated utilization robust background removal function. shows modern appropriate excitation are capable basic discrimination matter, implications towards rocks an additional tool geologist.
